I don’t even know where to begin. The easy answer is “just start with Jan 2013”. But that won’t tell the full story.
With each year that my little business grows, I find it emotional to reflect back on the year before. It is emotional because I am proud of the goals and accomplishments that I have met or exceeded. I am surprised at the moments that happened out of the blue. I am thankful for the challenging moments that taught me something new about myself and my business.
In 2013 I photographed some adorable babies, attended some amazing photography workshops, photographed gorgeous weddings, traveled to Mexico to photograph a destination wedding, captured some beautiful boudoir images, donated my time and talent to Operation Love to photograph many military homecomings, and photographed some amazing high school seniors.
I am so grateful for all the amazing people I have worked with over the past year. Every single client has left an imprint on me. Each session is like a photograph in my mind. I have made some amazing friends within the photography world, and I am so thankful for that.
I am looking forward to 2014 with big aspirations and goals! I love this quote by Khalil Gibran: “Yesterday is but today’s memory, and tomorrow is today’s dream.”
I just want to quickly thank my amazing, supportive husband for believing in me and for still loving me even though I get a little “whipped up” before a session. :) And to my wonderful clients, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for seeing the beauty in my work and connecting with it. Art is subjective, and I am so thankful that it resonates with you.
I hope everyone has a prosperous, healthy, exciting 2014!
