As a female small business owner, creating connections with other vendors within your community is so important. Not only is it good for networking, but it creates a relationship that fosters creativity, friendship, goal setting, and brainstorming.

Today, I am featuring an interview with Stephanie, the owner of Stephanie Martin Hair + Makeup. I have worked with Stephanie and her team of amazing hair and makeup artists for two years now. Stephaine and her team are so creative and versatile. They create amazing looks for my high school senior clients as well as my teen clients. Stephanie and her team also do weddings, commercial shoots, and they even offer hands on skin care and beginner makeup classes (perfect for teens!). I am so thankful to have found a fellow Ladyboss who uplifts women and girls and is such a positive, kind soul.

It was a dream of mine. I saw a niche for something I loved doing, so thought to myself, “I have to do this!” I have been fortunate that it has worked out and I get to do what I love and provide other awesome women with jobs they love as well!
I have grown immensely in both my personal and professional life due to being a business owner. It has taught me structure, time management, and patience, amongst many other things. It has also helped me to better understand people and how they think and work, along with a plethora of technical skills.
I am spending my time living and loving life with my husband and three incredible kiddos! Along with the rest of my family and friends as well!!
