Meet Molly and Eric. This is their love story.

Molly and Eric met while attending college. They are both very athletic and Molly can throw a mean spiral. You see, Molly and Eric were made for eachother. When Eric looks at her, his eyes twinkle. They are absolutely smitten with eachother and it radiates in their wedding images.

Molly and Eric were married at the Church of the Assumption in St. Paul. It is such a beautiful church, and I fell in love with the historic elements inside. The bride and groom had a unique first look. They wrote vows to read to eachother during their first look. It was so emotional and tender. After the ceremony, the bride and groom commissioned a trolly to take us around historic St. Paul. This wedding party was so fun to photograph. They we literally up for anything! We stopped at Harriet Island for some gorgeous wedding party photos, and then we headed over to W. A. Frost for a cocktail. Although I had been there before, I never knew there was a wine cellar full of charm and history. I knew we had to get some images in the wine cellar. It was so beautiful. I had left my speedlight on the trolly, but never fear. I asked all of the bridal party to take out their cell phones and illuminate the bride and groom using the flash lights on their phones. I am in LOVE with the images we captured in the wine cellar!

After W. A. Frost, we headed over to the recpetion at the Minnesota History Center. I loved photographing at this venue. The dining area was so clean and modern, with a hint of history. I loved how the bride and groom offered sunglasses to all of their guests. It was such a cute touch, and the guests were seen strolling about wearing them. The bride and groom also included an Instax photo booth and I have loved seeing their images pop up in my newsfeed!

After dinner, we snuck out for some golden hour photos. The bride and groom were so smitten with eachother, I barely had to ask them to pose. I just love how they interacted with one another. After our golden hour photos, the bride and groom headed in to start their first dance as a married couple. As they were dancing, they just melted into eachother.

I want to thank Molly and Eric for choosing me to photograph their love story. I was honored to be a part of your day. Below are just a few of my favorite images from the day. To view Molly and Eric’s full gallery, please click HERE.

Nicole
