Ok, so I am going to start this post off by saying my husband and I got married at Lutsen Resort. On the beach. Surrounded by our dearest family and friends.
So when my friend Jody with Jody Savage Photography asked me to assist her with a wedding on the beach. At Lutsen Resort. I said… “YES! I got married there!”
It was so much fun being on the other end of the lens at a wedding at Lutsen (http://www.lutsenresort.com). It brought back so many memories of my wedding day. Some things were different, but many were the same. The whole day was simply lovely.
The bride and bridesmaids all wore purple shoes, and the groomsmen wore handmade boutonniere’s that included a bottle cap from their favorite beer. The dinner was served family style, and I just loved that home-style touch. Everyone interacted at each table and you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves!
And lastly, the bride and groom hired a swing band to play at their reception. It was awesome! The horns always get me!
I just loved photographing this wedding. :)
