Meet Laura and Travis. They are one of the sweetest couples I have ever worked with.
Laura and Travis were married at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club. I loved photographing their love story.
We arrived at Laura’s parent’s home to photograph the girls getting ready. I loved how calm Laura was. Having her family and friends surrounding her while she was getting ready just felt “right”. There was lots of laughing and some tears of joy throughout the morning. I always love being there during a portion of the getting ready because the images really help tell the story of the day.
Here is a little secret: I am OBSESSED with Laura’s wedding gown and veil. The dress had a plunging back that was absolutely stunning. The custom sash was a perfect addition to her gown. The bride’s veil was her mother’s from her marriage to Laura’s father. Laura’s mother did a few alterations to the veil and honestly, it was perfection. The veil blew in the breeze every so often and I loved photographing the movement.
Everything about Laura and Travis’s wedding was so lovely. I loved the variations of the bridesmaids dress as well as the floral bouquets. The bride gifted shawls to her bridesmaids and they tied in perfectly with the fall colors as well as the bouquets.
Laura and Travis’s golden hour photos are absolutely gorgeous. It is no secret that I live for the golden hour. The way Travis looked at Laura was so incredibly romantic. It was so easy to capture their connection.
