This wedding was so beautiful. It was held at the bride’s parents house located in the bluffs of Red Wing, Minnesota. The location was so picturesque.
I always suggest that my wedding clients do a “first look” before the ceremony. I always get such emotional reactions when they see each other for the first time.
After the couple’s first look, we headed to historic downtown Red Wing. The town is a photographers dream! We had so much fun hunting for fun, unique locations to shoot at. I just love the images we got!
I love that Kelsey and Mitch had a “wine box” ceremony. It was so unique. The couple write each other a letter stating why they love the other. At the ceremony they each put their letter inside the box along with a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. On their one year anniversary they will unlock the wine box, enjoy some wine and read their letters aloud. Then they each write another letter and put in in the wine box along with another bottle of wine. On their 5th anniversary they do the same thing, and so on. It is such a romantic idea!
