Meet Jordyn from STMA High School. Jordyn is one of the most laid back people I have ever worked with. She was up for anything (including getting into the Mississippi River!). Working with seniors that have an adventurous spirit inspires me a lot. We can get out of our comfort zones and get creative.
Jordyn had her wardrobe styled by Day Dreamers Boutique in Big Lake, and I love the pieces she chose! She also incorporated her own clothing from home too. With Hair and Makeup by SM Hair+Makeup, everything was perfect for her senior portrait experience.
At the beginning of Jordyn’s session, she mentioned that she loves to go antiquing and likes interior design. She had the fun idea to shoot in front of a local antique store and I was totally up for it!
We also shot her urban looks in the same area. Her yellow top was my favorite! It really popped in front of the grey metal doors in the parking lot we were shooting at.
Jordyn’s favorite piece from Day Dreamers Boutique was the blue floral romper. I loved it too! It was perfect for the next locations: the Mississippi River, and the wildflowers. The contrast of the blue romper against the greenery and the yellow wildflowers was perfection.
I am so thankful that I get to work with amazing teens and their really friendly moms. Jordyn and Lori, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your senior year!
