Meet Jackie and Joe. They are one of the most sweetest couples I have ever met.
Jackie and Joe were married at the White Bear Yacht Club in White Bear Lake. They chose the venue because they are both avid sailors. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and I loved the nautical ambiance throughout the entire venue.
Jackie and Joe had a small, intimate wedding. I always love photographing intimate weddings, because things are a little more laid back, and not as rushed throughout the day.
Jackie and Joe had a very unique first look in the rotunda of the yacht club. As Jackie descended the spiral staircase, she was just beaming at her groom. Joe couldn’t take his eyes off of her. I love the emotion they both had as they shared their first look.
We did all of their bridal portraits outside near the water. This only made sense since Jackie and Joe spend a lot of time sailing. The golden hour once again did not disappoint. I am in love with all of their bridal portraits, but most of all the golden hour images. The golden sun just showers down on them.
Jackie and Joe thought of their guests in such a unique way. They were married the weekend of Rosh Hashanah. They had many guests that were celebrating the Jewish New Year and they surprised their guests by serving apples and honey (a Jewish custom) as well as a traditional wedding cake by Hanisch Bakery. I also loved the soft beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements by Artemisia Studios.
