Meet the gorgeous Isabel. She is one of my senior models for 2016 and I just love her!
Isabel attends Spectrum Highschool in Elk River. We had such a blast during her senior photo session. Isabel is super creative and I have loved getting to know her. Did I mention she wants to be a photographer? A girl after my own heart!
When we were planning Isabel’s session, I asked her what she envisioned for her vibe. She mentioned a mix of urban and nature. She told me she wanted to do some photos at a coffee shop too.
We began shooting the urban portion of her shoot, and then headed over to the coffee shop. Neither one of us had been there before and when we walked in, we hated the decor. It was definitely not the vibe we were looking for! So off we went to keep shooting down by the lake. On the way to the lake, I remembered that my friends own Hayes’ Public House, an Irish brewery and taproom. I mentioned it might be fun to shoot inside, and Isabel’s mom exclaimed “Well we are IRISH, and that would be super fun!”. So we headed inside where the decor was just perfect for the vibe Isabel had been describing for the coffee house idea she had. We had so much fun hanging with the owners and playing cards (note, no beer was consumed ;)).
After the brewery, we headed down to the lake where we captured some amazing photos. Isabel has such a relaxed vibe about her, and I just love it!
After the lake we headed over to a wooded park. Isabel chose a pretty white dress to wear for this portion of her shoot. I just love how ethereal and enchanted her images look here. I seriously didn’t want to stop shooting!
As you can see, Isabel is a natural in front of the camera. I had such a blast working with her.
