It doesn’t get any better than this, you guys.
I have been planning this experience for my 2016 senior models for months. I wanted this to be such an amazing experience for my girls and it was even better than I hoped.
This years theme was “glamping”. The vibe was boho enchanted forest. For those of you that don’t know what glamping is, think outdoor camping mixed with luxury and high end amenities.
My models were pampered right from the start. They were treated to professional hair and makeup by Emile Ann Makeup Artistry. Then Athena with Ampersand Helen showed up with the most beautiful clothing and accessories. Working with Athena was a dream. I sent her my mood board about a month prior to the shoot, and she literally brought my wardrobe vision to life. As you can see in the images, the wardrobe and accessories were perfection. The custom jewelry by Mineralogy was simply divine.
Once the models were styled and dressed, we headed over to the set. I had commissioned a local artist to build a custom canvas tee-pee and it was literally amazing. It was made out of birch branches and canvas. She added grommets and a leather tie as finishing touches. I literally couldn’t have envisioned it any better. The same local artist created the feather crown seen in many of the images.
My models were treated to 3 different outfit changes. We had many different locations to use as a backdrop. There was even a dog that made it into an image! His owner was walking him past one of our sets and he was just so adorable so I asked if we could add him to one of my shots. He was an energetic little guy, so it was tricky getting him to sit and stay.
Our shoot was filmed by W Photography and Design. I love how the video turned out. It really shows what happens behind the scenes as well as the experience my models received throughout the day. To view the video, click here.
Lastly, I want to thank my 2016 senior models. You are all simply amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to represent my studio. I love how unique all of you are and you literally make me laugh constantly when I am with you!
