Meet Samantha from The Blake School. She is seriously so beautiful inside and out. Samantha is a pure natural in front of the camera.
Samantha chose The Famous Session for her senior experience with Nicole Spangler Photography. The Famous Session includes wardrobe styling by Athena Pelton, on site professional hair and makeup by SM Makeup, 3 hours of shooting in Minneapolis, and the option to purchase her clothing from her wardrobe stylist. Samantha’s custom movie trailer from her experience is so fun, and it really shows the full experience of the Famous Session.
When Samantha and I discussed locations, she mentioned a super cute 50’s style drive-in as well as Uptown, Minneapolis. I was super excited because I love the vibe at all of the locations!
For the 50’s drive-in, Athena created a look that included a leather skirt from Express, a white tee from Free People, jean jacket (from Samantha’s closet) and of course, Converse (also from Samantha’s closet). I love how the outfit really meshes with the relaxed, vintage vibe of the drive-in.
For our second location in Uptown, Athena put together an adorable royal blue romper (from Express) with black sandals (from Samantha’s closet). I am seriously obsessed with the blue romper! And how cute is the balloon wall?! Samantha also changed into a basic black tank from Abercrombie and black jeans (Samantha’s). I love how a wardrobe change can completely change the vibe of an image.
For the third location, Samantha changed into a gorgeous sun dress from Zara, black leather jacket, also from Zara, and black combat boots (again, Samantha’s). I love the contrast between the soft, flowy, feminine dress, and the fierce leather jacket and combat boots.
For the last location we decided to change the vibe by removing the black jacket, and keeping the flowy sundress on. By doing this, it changed the vibe to a more natural feel and enhanced the natural surroundings.
