This is Chloe. Chloe loves all things vintage. Plus she has a pretty kick ass bucket list (just ask her)! Chloe attends Monticello High School in Minnesota.
Chloe has a very eclectic personality. She loves to read (she even works at a library), she loves to play vintage records, she plays the saxophone, she has lettered in sports and academics, she has an edgy side to her (see the images below), and she is a history buff! I can honestly say, I kind of have Chloe envy!
My goal as a senior photographer is to make sure I tell the story of my client. I ask them in a questionnaire what their hobbies are, their fashion icons, and so much more. That way I can plan exactly how to photograph and film them.
When Chloe mentioned she loves old books and records, we immediately discussed shooting inside an antique store. Annie’s Attic in Buffalo was perfect. They were so gracious to allow us to shoot inside their store. I absolutely love the images we captured during this portion of Chloe’s senior portrait story.
After the antique store we decided to showcase Chloe’s love of vintage style at Atelier in Buffalo, Minnesota. Atelier is hands down my FAVORITE vintage store. It was a perfect backdrop for Chloe’s vintage vibe. The owner was so kind to allow us to shoot inside, even after they were closed. If you are ever looking for great vintage pieces and decor, I highly recommend this store.
The next portion of Chloe’s senior portrait story was her music vibe and her edgy side (hello Sandy from Grease!). I am a little partial to the edgy images because I love how Chloe transformed into a part of herself that exudes strength and confidence.
The last portion of her senior portrait story literally gives me goosebumps. During Chloe’s shoot, it was hazy and drizzling. She mentioned how she liked the moodiness of it (and I did too!). The dress Chloe wore for the last portion of her shoot was perfection. I don’t know what it is about it, but I love how it is has a vintage vibe. It is simple, yet has a voice. We decided to photograph on a dock with the fog behind her. It really added a mysterious vibe to the images.
Thank you to Day Dreamers Boutique for Chloe’s wardrobe styling and SM Hair and Makeup for the beautiful artistry.
