Meet the Dulings. Two of the sweetest people I have ever met. Jenny and Bryan were married at Camrose Hill surrounded by close family and friends on a cloudy day in June.
Jenny is a kind soul and has a smile that lights up a room. She is known to make care packages for the homeless and hands them out frequently. At her bachelorette party she asked the she and her guests put care packages together so they can help people in need. When I heard about his (during the speeches at the reception), it brought tears to my eyes. Jenny is a personal care attendant for a very special little boy named Bailey. She asked that we capture some images of she and Bryan together with Bailey. Seeing his reaction when he saw “his Jenny” was so special. He was smiling ear to ear and seeing Jenny and Bryan interact with him really moved me. Bailey was their ring bearer and he carried a pillow that was made out of Jenny’s Mother’s wedding gown. I love special details that incorporate family history.
Jenny describes Bryan as “Caring, generous, hard working, and loving”. I can honestly say that I saw all of these qualities at their wedding at Camrose Hill. When he spoke about his bride, his eyes lit up and you could just see the love he has for her.
I can’t say enough about the venue, Camrose Hill. Immediately when you drive in, you feel as if you have been transported back in time and immediately feel the need to sit down for a spot of tea among the peonies. There are so many nooks and crannies that are just dying to be photographed (I am pretty sure we hit them all). The staff at Camrose Hill were so gracious and extremely friendly, which always makes my day even better!
Can we all just take a moment and revel at the dessert display? I honestly can say that as I was editing and blogging this wedding, my sweet tooth was very tempted!
Although the day was cloudy, I was really holding out hope that the clouds would part at sunset so we could capture some golden hour images. My hope faded as that time came. I spoke with Jenny and Bryan and we agreed that the sun just wasn’t going to cooperate that night. As I stepped away to call my daughter before she went to bed, I looked up and saw that the sky was lit up with that golden light I am obsessed with. I quickly said goodnight to my daughter (she understood LOL), and ran up to Jenny and Bryan and exclaimed “the sun came out, it’s time!!”. So we quickly ran up to the field and captured some stunning golden hour images. I am so thankful that Jenny and Bryan trusted my vision and had no problem stepping away from their reception to capture these images.
As the evening came to a close, the guests all lit sparklers as the happy couple exited the reception. I just love the happiness in these images, just look at their faces!
