This engagaemt session was amazing. A dream come true, really.
Becky and Dan are getting married next fall at a Villa Bellezza vineyard in Wisconsin. When they called me to chat about their engagement session they mentioned that they would like to incorporate wine into their session. Since it is fall in Minnesota, I knew a picnic outside wouldn’t be very believeable (it was 43 degrees outside). So the wheels started turning and I came up with the idea to incorporate a fall bonfire with roasting marshmallows and drinking red wine. I knew I wanted a warm, cozy blanket for that warm vibe. Becky and Dan also brought a really cool picnic basket and some wine from the vineyard.
I have to say that I LOVE the campfire photos! They just exude warmth and coziness.
After the campfire we moved on to downtown Stillwater to do some more urban photos. They really wanted to incorporate the lift bride since it is being demolished soon. Dan was thinking just doing a side shot of them with the bridge, but instantly I knew we had to go big or go home. So we stopped traffic to get a stunning shot!
I had so much fun shooting this fall engagement session and I can’t wait to photograph Becky and Dan’s wedding!
